The Orthodox Medical Educational Pro-Life Center "Zhizn" ("Life") was established in Moscow in April 19, 1993 by the Orthodox community of the Annunciation Church (Moscow Patriarchate). Our parish develops a number of social and charitable activities: pastoral care for patients of Oncological Center, for old, disabled and mentally sick persons. Sisterhood in the name of of St. Martyr Princess Elisabeth Theodorovna established ib the parish takes an active part in charitable work and nursing. A series of Orthodox books was published by the parish. The clergy of the community is made up of six priests and two deacons, the Dean of the parish is Archpriest Dimitry Smirnov.
